Reviews
Looks like a pretty decent grocery store, I'm from out of town so this is what was near. Seem clean, organized. The cashiers were super friendly. I only found one cart sitting in the middle of the parking lot, the rest made it to the corral. (Abandoned carts in the parking lot is one of my pet peeves). It's not familiar to me like Kroger, Food Lion or Publix, but I came, I saw, I bought and I left. All good.
I try to avoid this store at all costs. There is always a long line to check out, even at the “quiet” times. The self checkout kiosks are beyond antiquated, likely causing the lines.
They have some good store brand products and the bakery is good, but unfortunately the checkout process brings the experience down significantly.
One star is not a usual rating for me, normally I would at least give a 4/5. Today 6/5/23 7:20PM there were NO cashiers, the service desk was closed, the meat dept. was closed and one of the self-SCAN machines was rebooting. Unfortunately for most of the shoppers (at this time) had full shopping carts. The line was all the way back to the meat department. Had it not taken so long to get all the items on my list, which were all needed, I would have left the cart right in the aisle. I’m surprised most people didn’t leave. Cudos to the guy helping out at the scanners he deserves a raise.
Very nice deli, in store dining, beer, no wine.otherwise good place to purchase your groceries!
Great staff, very clean store, well stocked and great variety!
Veggies are mostly fresh and prices are good too. If you live around here and don't have a car like me, it's a good place for shopping.
They do wait too long to reduce prices for produce. Produce has started to go bad anytime you see price reductions.
I've found bakery products to be really fresh and well made. They do have an expiry date of one day from when something was baked.
For many years I have shopped at this establishment however I was appalled by the treatment received on Jan 14. The cashier was unprofessional, racist, and disrespectful. The white male cashier targeted a 12 year old black male and told him to empty his pockets. This action was unwarranted as there was no reason to believe that my brother had stole anything. When prompted my brother followed instruction and as expected he did not have any merchandise. I highly suggest that this establishment educate their employees on proper respect and professionalism.
I had an unpleasant experience lately when shopping at this Price Chopper store during slow hours. There were three lines open upon check out. I picked one that had one customer in front of me. The cashier was overly friendly and chitchatted with her customer while the other two line's customers all completed their transactions. I finally moved my items to another cashier who became available while she continued her chitchatting.
I see other supermarkets are reducing their cashiers and this store has too many cashiers. The two stars are for other dedicated cashiers at this store.
